Infestari
A downloadable game
Humankind has unknowingly brought back an alien infestation that has overtaken and mutated earth's insects, forcing the remains of humanity to escape into space. A few years later, ex-military commander Juno is sent back to earth to assess the situation and hopefully secure a foothold for Humanity’s return.
Landing zone: Infested Power Plant, Oregon, U.S.A.
Infestari is an isometric tactical stealth shooter set in a dark dystopian future where earth no longer belongs to humankind. The game features a vacant and isolated atmosphere, intense stealth and combat, and a chilling environment overtaken by the ravenous infestation. The game is a vertical slice project developed by a team of Voice Acting, Writing, Sound, Art, Animation and Programming students at the Toronto Film School.

MY INDIVIDUAL ROLE:
Gameplay Programmer
As a gameplay programmer I was responsible for working close with the Lead Designer and creating code that was robust for the all the gameplay systems.
For the majority I worked on creating Player Weapon Inventory System and programmed versatile Sound scripts that can be used in a modular way on multiple objects and animations. Further I assisted with the Cone of Vision & A* pathfinding for the Enemy AI. I also had a key role in fixing bugs and optimising the game for playing to make sure the game functions correctly and satisfies all the design constraints.
